School Transportation
If you wish to register your child/children for school bus service for the 2025–2026 academic year, please complete the online registration through the link below. Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. You can view our Bus Fees and the School Bus Guidelines (Terms & Conditions) within the form.
Al Salam Private School runs an efficient transport system led by a qualified Transport Manager. All drivers and bus attendants are trained in accordance with RTA regulations and attend regular workshops facilitated by the Transport Manager, Operations Manager, and School Doctor.
Our buses are consistently well maintained. Parents are provided with the contact details of the assigned driver and bus helper to help track their child’s journey.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation fee of AED 300 will be charged if a parent wishes to cancel the bus service during the school academic year.
- A parent requesting to change from 2 way service to 1 way will be charged AED 300 towards the cancellation / modification fees.
- Please note that it may take up to 5 working days for the student pick up scheduling after the payment confirmation.
Transport Registration Terms and Conditions
- Our transport department manages the bus routes, timings and identification card issuance in order to ensure that our students arrive and disperse the school campus in a systematic manner.
- As per RTA regulations the bus driver cannot give out his mobile number. Calls should only be made to the bus attendant or the transport coordinator. “Missed calls” will not be entertained.
- Any changes in the route / timings/ bus number will be communicated by the school to the parents in advance.
- If the bus is running late, the Transport Department will send the notification to you through the SBAS app (or) parents can track the bus via the SBAS app.
- Exact time keeping cannot be guaranteed due to possible traffic congestion.

Parents are expected to support the school in educating their children about bus safety and appropriate behaviour.

If a child will be absent from school for any reason, the parent must inform the Transport Coordinator and the bus attendant in advance.

Any changes to a child’s regular pick-up or drop-off routine must be communicated promptly to both the Transport Coordinator and the bus attendant.

Updated contact details (address and phone number) must be shared with the school immediately.
-
If there is a change in the pick-up or drop-off address, the school is not obligated to adjust the bus route. In such cases, the bus service may not be available or may be delayed for the new address.

Children should be ready at their pick-up point at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time. Parents/caretakers must ensure that someone is available to receive the child promptly at the drop-off point.

Parents are responsible for any costs related to damages caused by their child to the bus or its interior, including seats, seat belts, etc.

If no authorised person is available to collect the child at the drop-off point, the child will be returned to school. The Transport Coordinator will contact the parent to arrange collection from the school.

If a parent wishes to personally pick up their child from school, the school must be informed as follows:

FS students: Notify the school by 12:00 pm
-
Year 1 to Year 11: Notify the school by 1:00 pm

Students must follow the RTA Code of Conduct and adhere to all instructions given by the bus attendant.

Eating and drinking (except water) is not permitted on the bus.

Use of devices (Chromebook or mobile phones) is not allowed while on the bus.

Playing music on speakers is strictly not allowed.
-
Students must remain seated, follow all safety rules and not move around while the bus is in motion.

Students must sit in their assigned seats and keep seat belts fastened at all times. Failure to comply may result in suspension from bus service.

Chromebooks may not be used while the bus is in motion.

Students must present their Bus ID when boarding. Students without a valid ID will not be allowed on the bus. A replacement fee of AED 50 will be charged for lost or damaged Radio Frequency IDs.

If a student needs to be dropped off at a different stop (on the same route), a written request from the parent must be submitted to the bus supervisor in the morning. The request will be reviewed by the school’s Transport Coordinator and confirmed with the parent. The student will be informed of the decision during the school day.

The student or parent/caretaker does not comply with the transport department’s policies and conditions.

The student fails to follow the school bus code of conduct or displays inappropriate behaviour.
-
There are safety or logistical concerns that make it unsafe or impractical for the student to continue using the bus service.
-
The student is persistently disruptive to other passengers, the driver, or the bus aide.
-
The student behaves in a way that endangers the safety of others or causes deliberate damage to the bus.
-
The parent/caretaker consistently fails to ensure the student is at the designated pick-up or drop-off point on time.
-
The parent/caretaker repeatedly neglects to inform the bus driver or aide when the student will not be using the service.

Transport fees are not paid on time.

- Our standard terms and conditions apply:- An administrative fee of AED 250 will be charged in the case of a cheque being returned by the bank for whatever reason.
– A monthly charge will be applicable, if the transport is used for 1 day or more.
– AED 50will be charged for lost or damaged Radio frequency ID(Students ID).
– An administrative fee of AED 150 will be charged for retrieval / holding the cheques instead of depositing it to the bank.
– Bus Fees should to be paid 15 Days before the start of each term.
– 1st term fees should be paid before 15th August.
-2nd term fees should be paid before 15th December
-3rd term fees should be paid before 15th March
We are placing a school bus tracking system on all school buses that will allow parents and school administrators to find the correct position of our school buses.
To get started, please download the SBAS Parent Application on your smart phone (available on Google Play and App Store).
Follow below steps to register:
1. At the login screen:

Select the Country and enter registered mobile number then click proceed

A verification code will be sent to the registered mobile number, please use this number to verify and login

In case you need assistance to login, create Support request within the app
2. After successful login:

You should see the student’s information

From the top left corner (Menu) you may explore more options

Use “My Profile” from the main menu to update key information

You may set notification within the app setting in the main menu
Once installed in your smart device having internet connection, the SBAS Parent Application gives the following information:

Estimated time of arrival at pick up/drop off point

When the student has been picked up safely

When the student has reached the school

It is possible for the school authorities to record all the activities and route of the school bus using the GPS tracking system
