Principal’s Message
Welcome to Al Salam Private School. The school has a wonderful tradition and established itself on the educational map of Dubai many years ago. One of my aims is to build on the foundations that have already been established, as well as leading the journey of the school towards becoming among Dubai’s most highly reputed Schools for Foundation Stage, Primary and Secondary Education.
About Me
I graduated with a BA Hons Degree in Educational Studies from the University of Luton in England. I then studied for a PGCE at De Montfort University in Bedford, England, and gained Qualified Teacher Status in 2001. Since then, I have completed various professional qualifications and have been awarded an NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headship).
Over nearly two decades, I have held several teaching and leadership positions, working primarily in the UK but also taking on senior leadership roles in Dubai and Qatar. Before joining Al Salam School in 2021 as Vice Principal, I was Headteacher at a Junior school in Hertfordshire, England, where I successfully led the school through a national pandemic while making a significant impact in moving the school forward.
As a dedicated individual, passionate teacher, and visionary leader, I will now be the Principal of Al Salam Private School from the academic year 2024-2025 and I am keen to embark on the next stage of my career.
Learning is Limitless
Learning is limitless and what better place to learn than in a school. My aim is to see the school grow and flourish, to see the seeds that have already been planted grow roots that are deep and to add to the legacy that is Al Salam Private School. I firmly believe that learning never stops and that the more we learn and grow and develop ourselves, the better we become at recognising how to build others around us.
As a community we are growing, our children are thriving and my aim is to ignite a passion for learning so that our children leave with strong self belief, as articulate individuals and as citizens who make a difference in the world that we live in. We are all unique and should be celebrated as individuals, we grow in different ways, we may have similarities but let’s keep our identity and remember to embrace our differences.
